Grace Shen is a Los Angeles based actress who was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. Grace received her Bachelors of Education from the University of British Columbia before she pursued her dream of acting. She is an alumni of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Grace’s notable theatre credits include: The Joy Luck Club, The King and I, Miss Saigon, South Pacific, Hello, Dolly!, Brigadoon, Gigi, Two Rooms, and The Big Funk. Grace’s recent television credits include: The Brothers Sun, All American, Bosch Legacy, Truth Be Told, 911 Lone Star, This Is Us and Grey’s Anatomy. Grace appeared in the film All About Nina starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Common which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival (Netflix). Grace can be seen in the multi-award winning short Monday (2017 HBO APA Visionaries winner) which premiered at the 2017 LAAPFF. Grace plays the lead role in the short film Breaking the Silence which has garnered 55 wins and 25 nominations. She has lead roles in the short films: Crosswinds, Flat Echo and No Shoes in the House. Grace’s most exciting projects to date is working with Academy Award winning director, Alejandro G. Inarritu in his latest film Bardo, False Chronicles of a Handful of Truths (Netflix) and Academy Award winning actress, Michelle Yeoh in The Brothers Sun (Netflix).
